DROP BISCUITS

2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt

1 cup buttermilk
8 TBS butter

Melt butter. When butter cools to close to room temperature whisk into cold buttermilk. Pour into dry mixture and mix by hand until fully combined.

Bake at 475 for 12-14 minutes

 

CREAM BISCUITS

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups heavy cream (to start)

Mix ingredients together. Dough should not be too dry or crumbly. Knead it for 30-40 seconds. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick and cut into biscuits with biscuit cutter.

Bake at 425 for 15 minutes
